It hasn’t even been a month since we peeled Uma and her hair has already grown a lot, however, I have been reading how unhelpful it is to peel her too much, since in the end the sun can wreak havoc on her skin, so after that first peel, we will stand here.
How to combat the heat with that mop of hair? Well, simply, getting up early to be able to take the first walk with less sun. The good thing now is that as the days go by it will dawn a few minutes later. Right now it dawns at six-thirty, and we usually leave the house at seven-thirty, but in a month, it will dawn at seven-something, so going out for a walk at seven-thirty will be more rewarding.
Luckily, we do little stretch of asphalt, because in summer the asphalt is a boiling frying pan, and of course, the pads of the dogs’ paws are calloused but that does not mean that they do not suffer, so we avoid them as much as possible. possible to go out with Uma on asphalt in full sun.
We do the second walk late, almost at nine at night, because of course, it dawns later, which means it gets dark later, anyway, sometimes the nights are so hot that we’ll see how we handle it. so as not to die from suffocation from the heat.
During the day Uma stays at home with us with the air conditioning on, so she couldn’t be better. She takes some great naps.
Plus, he loves playing with the water hose, so we play water games whenever we can. This weekend we will try the experience of bathing in the pool. She’s really crazy, so maybe she loves it and everything.
Changing gears, on Sunday we met with his parents and his new siblings. Oh my God, I would keep them all! And her former owner has sent me a photo of each of her sisters from the same litter, all already 6 months old. As time goes! Just yesterday they turned 7 months old… What do you think of how different they are from each other?
As you can see, the black girl has had the same thing happen to her that happened to Uma, only she hasn’t had surgery yet… Two of them look like their mother (the ones with less hair), and Uma and the other hairier one at the same time. father. And only Uma has come out with light eyes, I don’t know where they come from, since both parents have dark eyes and, furthermore, they are further apart than the sisters, come on, one eye looks at Vigo and the other at Cuenca.
Cute, right? Well, if anyone wants some of these cuties, there are still some of Uma’s little brothers up for adoption, who are only a month old and won’t be put up for adoption for another month.
I’ll let you know how Sunday goes with the family visit!
